Your Random Mid 80's to Early 90's Baseball Player of the Day: Storm Davis!

George Earl Davis, better known to his colleagues and millions of fans worldwide as "Storm", is Your Random Mid 80's to Early 90's Baseball Player of the Day.

Storm never flew higher or shook harder than he did during the earthquake plagued 1989 World Series with the Oakland Athletics. Nevermind that Storm went 19-7 as the fourth wheel in the Athletics rotation, it earned him the ball exactly zero times in the World Series. That's right, Storm never threw one pitch in that 1989 Series, that damn Loma Prieta Quake tore Storm's dream that October, but he's still a Champion, and no one can take that away.

Little known fact: Storm was the inspiration for the X-Men character Storm.
